Tonight, I made the best meal I've probably ever made in my whole life!! We loved it! It was a Southwestern Grilled Tuna Salad with Basil-Garlic Vinaigrette. It had grilled tuna steaks in the middle of a salad consisting of fancy lettuce (which is what I call anything that isn't iceberg), grilled new potatoes, avocado, and tomatoes tossed in the newly made vinaigrette. The most AMAZING part of this meal is the fact that I made and enjoyed a salad dressing. I've never met a salad dressing I liked. One time, I was really drunk and hungry and the restaurant put some dressing on my salad and I tolerated it, but this one... delicious! There was one major problem with tonight's dinner. It was one day too late to impress the in-laws. I know they said last night's was great, and I liked it alright, but this one would have knocked 'em out. I'm gonna cook it for them soon! ;) Oh, and the dogs enjoyed licking what little dressing was left on the plate!
